You don't have to actually buy any, of course, but it is reassuring to know that you know how to do it.

Instead, choose an area that your law business can excel in and look for ways to distinguish yourself within this niche.

As your law firm grows, you can choose to branch out and start covering other areas of law as well as your initial chosen specialty. However, to begin with, keep things simple. Work out what niche you can excel in, then begin to investigate your options in terms of finding offices, partners and everything else your law firm will need. Once you have a plan, you will be unstoppable.
